Peter M. Polydor
Associate
Peter focuses on research and analysis of global cleantech developments and has assisted the partners with portfolio development and investor relations. In addition, he has been the co-author with Managing Partner Walter Schindler of special presentations on cleantech and sustainability to Harvard Business School, Cambridge Associates, Hult International Business School, and the IMN European Conference in Stockholm on Responsible Investment.
Prior to joining SAIL, Peter worked at Citigroup where he performed due diligence on potential investments in public companies within alternative energy for a private wealth management group. On the policy side, Peter completed an internship with the US House of Representatives, where he focused on energy policy issues. Peter has also worked for the Apollo Alliance, a not-for-profit organization based in San Francisco, CA that promotes companies in the green economy.
Peter’s senior thesis at Occidental College addressed US energy policy and its effects on the US economy. He is a recipient of the Trustee Scholarship from Occidental College and the Edmonson Fellowship from the University of Southern California. Peter is a dual citizen of Greece and Canada and is able to converse in both Spanish and Greek. At Occidental College he received a BA in Political Science with an emphasis on Energy Policy.
